It’s Hard to be Humble

Once President Kennedy presented Bob Hope with a gold medal for service to his country. Mr. Hope replied, “I feel very humble, but I think I have the strength of character to fight it.” It’s hard to be humble! Ted Turner agrees: “If I only had a little humility, I would be perfect.” Phyllis Diller offers her advice, Just get a mirror!

 

We continue our series on what it takes to become a Community in Unity. Jesus’ disciples have been with him a while now, but there continued to be many rough edges in their understanding of Jesus’ ways. Seeing their struggles makes the Bible so real–real people with the same problems as us! Join the discussion. Sunday School at 9:15 and worship at 10:30. The choir sings “The Majesty and Glory of His Name.” I can’t wait to see you!
