How good are you at applying what Jesus teaches? Let’s think of applying other things that we learn. Anytime you take up a new sport, or try to develop a new habit or break an existing detrimental one, you must become a student. You learn all about what you are trying to accomplish. And then you must put it into consistent practice. For example, if you take up golf, you must learn the game, spend time practicing hitting the ball, then go to the course and play. Then you must continue to be a student to not develop bad habits, and play regularly to improve!

Faith, Jesus says, is just like that. Sunday during 10:30 worship we talk about how good faith works. I hope you can join us! The children play their cajóns during worship and afterward we’ll enjoy lemonade and snacks on the patio. Sunday School for all ages is at 9:15. I can’t wait to see you!
