What might you sacrifice for? A new car? A vacation? Your child’s college education? Would you sacrifice for another person–someone you love very much? What about someone you do not know? These are hypothetical questions but if we think for awhile, we might easily come up with answers. Or, we might at least come up with what we would not think worthy of sacrifice.

The prophet Isaiah predicted many years before which sacrifice would bring Jesus great satisfaction. Jesus talks to the disciples about it, but they could not comprehend it. Do we? This is our subject for Sunday Worship at 10:30. We’ll celebrate Communion. Sunday School for all ages at 9:15.

This is Week One of Lent. On Wednesday, March 9 we gather for dinner and begin our study of “The Passion Play” at 6:00 p.m. Please sign up by calling the church office or at church Sunday! I can’t wait to see you!
